The Christian County Lady Colonels played mostly reserve players but still rolled to an 82-8 District 8 basketball win over host Heritage Christian Academy Thursday night.
The Lady Colonels led 72-0 after three quarters and were led by Adreyona Smith’s 16 points. Carliah Hobson added 14 and Amari Northington chipped in 13.
HCA got on the board with 7:18 to play in the game on a 3-pointer from Kynlee Henderson. Henderson finished with six points and Charity Hall had the other basket for the Lady Warriors.
Christian County improves to 11-8 overall and 2-0 in district play. The Lady Colonels return to action Saturday at Lyon County.
HCA is now 0-7 and 0-1 in district play. The Lady Warriors will travel to Fort Campbell tonight for a District 8 contest.
