The Christian County Lady Colonels’ softball team remains undefeated on the season after a strong showing over the weekend in Eddyville.
Alondra Rodriguez slammed four doubles and drove in six runs as Christian County routed Jo Byrns, Tenn., 15-4 in five innings on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier Saturday, the Lady Colonels defeated Muhlenberg County 12-1 in five innings. Alyssa Petterson had four hits in the win and Chloe Almy drove in three runs.
Christian County also tied Madisonville-North Hopkins 5-5 in a game halted due to time limit after six innings. Talyn Ezell drove in a pair of runs and Alexis Epps and Almy each had a pair of hits for the Lady Colonels (6-0-1).
Christian County is back in action Tuesday at Livingston Central.
