The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers exploded for seven goals and hammered host Crittenden County 7-2 Thursday night in a girls’ high school soccer match.
Kaydon Coats had a pair of goals and three assists and Kaylyn Lynch and Lauren Jones each had a pair of goals to lead the Lady Tigers’ offense.
Jessica Rodriguez scored her first goal of the season and Azaa Enkhtugs provided two assists. Lauren Mayes also had an assist for Hoptown.
Kaylynn Schwartz and Karla Quintanilla teamed to earn the win in goal.
In the JV match, Griffin Daniel scored two goals and Hoptown shut out the Lady Rockets 2-0.
Hopkinsville improves to 7-8 on the season and returns to action Saturday morning at Mayfield.
