LaShanti Wilson had 18 points and LeeLee Love added 14 and the host Hopkinsville Lady Tigers routed Muhlenberg County 65-40 Thursday night in a girls’ high school basketball game.
The Lady Tigers have won three of their last four games and improved to 4-3 on the season.
Love helped Hoptown break open a close game as she scored 10 points in the third quarter to push the Lady Tigers’ lead to 44-30 entering the final period.
Hoptown outscored the Lady Mustangs 21-10 in the final period to put the game out of reach. Six Lady Tigers scored in the fourth quarter.
Hoptown will be back in action Saturday against Calloway County at the CFSB Center in Murray.
Muhlenberg (1-6) was led by Talee Groves and Izzy Wilkins, with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
