The Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches released its Region Player of the Year Awards on Friday.
For the boys’, Lyon County senior guard Bray Kirk was named Region 2 Player of the Year.
Kirk averages 21.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
The Region 1 winner was McCracken County’s Miles Woodfork. Jonathan Moss, of Daviess County, won the Region 3 award, and Clinton County’s Jaxson Mason took home the Region 4 honor.
In girls’ basketball, Henderson County’s A’Tylia Green earned the Region 2 award.
Green, a senior guard, averages 16.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
Calloway County’s Sayler Lowe took home the Region 1 award and Daviess County’s Kennedy Lane was named Region 3 Player of the Year. Deborah Patrick, of Allen County-Scottsville, won the Region 4 award.
