University Heights Academy dropped a 3-1 high school volleyball match to host Madisonville-North Hopkins Thursday night.
Gretchan Durham had two blocks, seven digs, and 13 assists and Niyati Patel had four kills and seven digs for the Lady Blazers (11-19). Cassidy Keller had 16 digs.
After falling 25-20 in the first set, the Lady Blazers battled back to win the second set 25-22. However, the Lady Maroons proved to be too tough, taking the next two sets 25-18, 25-12.
Ava Crawford had seven digs and Megan Long provided a block and two kills for the Lady Blazers.
UHA is scheduled to play Saturday at Apollo in a tri-match with Apollo and Meade County to conclude its 2025 regular season.
