McLean County used eight 3-pointers from Anna Miller and blasted host Hopkinsville 75-25 Friday night in a girls’ high school basketball game.
Hoptown had not played since falling to Christian County two weeks ago and the rust showed as the Lady Tigers trailed 28-4 after one quarter against the Lady Cougars.
The offensive struggles continued in the second quarter for the Lady Tigers, who put up only five points in the period and trailed 51-9 at the break.
Miller led all scorers with 29 points and Karlee Floyd added 20 for McLean, who improved to 16-7 on the season.
Hopkinsville lost for the 11th straight game and fell to 1-14.
The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Serenity Ewing’s nine points.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play host to Logan County Tuesday night in the final regular season home game in school history.
