It’s championship Friday for the Ohio Valley League.
Fifth seed Fulton, who ousted the Hoptown Hoppers last weekend, upset top seed Madisonville 7-2 Wednesday night to advance to tonight’s championship series to take on second seed Henderson. The Flash edged Paducah Wednesday night 6-5 in 10 innings to earn a title bid.
The Flash will play host the Railroaders in Game 1 of the best-of-three championship series tonight. Game 2 will be Saturday in Fulton and, if needed, Game 3 will be Sunday in Henderson.
The two teams split their 10 games this season.
