The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers dropped a 66-25 girls’ basketball decision to host Owensboro Tuesday night in a girls’ high school basketball game.
The Lady Red Devils (5-6) blew open the game by outscoring the Lady Tigers 22-7 to take a 33-10 halftime lead.
Owensboro expanded its lead to 57-19 in the third quarter.
Serenity Ewing led Hoptown (1-8), which has lost five straight games, with eight points.
Hoptown, which has lost five straight games, returns to action Friday night at Christian County in a District 8 game at 6 p.m. Airtime is at 5:45 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
