The Region 2 Baseball Tournament is scheduled to get underway Monday morning at University Heights Academy’s Chris Simmons Field.
The draw for the tournament was held Friday morning.
The first game will be at 10 a.m. and will feature District 5 champion Lyon County (11-16) against District 7 runner-up Madisonville-North Hopkins (20-12).
The second game will begin at 1 p.m. and will feature District 6 champion Henderson County (18-13) against District 8 runner-up UHA (26-8). The Blazers defeated the Colonels 9-1 earlier this month.
In the bottom portion of the bracket, the first game will be Monday at 4 p.m. and will pit District 7 champion Caldwell County (21-10) against District 6 runner-up Webster County (21-14).
In the last game of the day at 7 p.m., District 8 champion Christian County (21-15) will play District 5 runner-up Crittenden County (14-16). The Colonels and Rockets did not meet during the regular season.
The semifinals are scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. with the championship game set for Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10 cash at the gate.
