The opponents for the inaugural football season for the Christian County High School Tigers are now known.
According to a post on the Christian County Tigers Football Facebook page on Thursday afternoon, the season will open Aug. 21 at home against Cooper High School.
That game will be one of five home games on the season. The Tigers also will play host to Frederick Douglass (Sept. 25), Henderson County (Oct. 9), McCracken County (Oct. 16), and Paducah Tilghman (Oct. 30).
Road opponents include Mayfield (Aug. 28), McKenzie, Tenn. (Sept. 4), Daviess County (Sept. 11), South Warren (Sept. 18), and Harlan County (Oct. 2).
Class 6-A, District 1 games are against Henderson County and McCracken County.
The open week is set for Oct. 23.
