Sherrill, Hayes lead Kentucky All-Stars against Indiana tonight

The Kentucky All-Stars will take on the Indiana All-Stars tonight at Lexington Catholic High School.

Former University Heights Academy and Hopkinsville High School coach Terry Hayes will be part of the Kentucky boys’ staff.

Former Hopkinsville High School girls’ basketball coach and current Bowling Green High School coach D.G. Sherrill is the head coach for the Kentucky All-Stars.

Sherrill, a Caldwell County High School graduate, will lead the Kentucky squad that includes University of Kentucky signee Malachi Moreno of Great Crossing. Other players on the team include Maddux Huff (Harlan County), Jordan Mabe (South Laurel), Ty Price (Butler County), Jonah Miller (Calloway County), Julian Miles (South Oldham), Melo Boone (Woodford County), Vince Dawson (Great Crossing), Austin Sperry (Breathitt County), Andy Johnson (Cooper), Jaden Stewart (Pike County Central), and Aaron Gutman (Walton-Verona).

Tonight’s boys’ game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. Central Time. The girls’ all-star game is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the teams will play at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the home arena for the Indiana Pacers. The girls’ game will be played at 4 p.m. with the boys to follow at 6:30.
