Tigers, Blazers meet in District 8 baseball tonight; Colonels to face HCA

The District 8 baseball standings figure to get a little more exciting tonight as the Hopkinsville Tigers visit University Heights Academy at 6 p.m.

The Tigers, who fell to the Blazers 4-1 earlier this season, have won four straight District 8 games and sit 4-1 and in first place in the standings.

UHA, which has won six straight games entering tonight, is 3-1 in the district with its only loss coming 8-3 to Christian County.

Airtime for tonight’s game is 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm.

Meanwhile, across town at Heritage Christian Academy, the Christian County Colonels will meet the Warriors in a District 8 contest at 5:30 p.m.

Christian County is tied with Hopkinsville in the district standings at 4-1. HCA is 0-5, but coming off the KCAC Baseball Tournament championship over the weekend.

The Colonels also have a key District 8 game Friday night at UHA.
