Elijah Walton and Tylin George earned co-Most Valuable Player awards during the University Heights Academy basketball banquet held Wednesday night at The Silo.
Walton, a senior forward, averaged 18.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game last season for the Blazers. George tallied 31.3 3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game during the 2024-25 season.
Both players also earned the Most Rebounds Award.
Walton and Tra Bell picked up the Senior awards.
George took home the Best Free Throw Percentage (84.2 percent), Most Assists (55), Playmaker, and Hustle awards.
Walton was honored for scoring more than 1,000 points in his career and also took home the Best Field Goal Percentage Award (46.6 percent).
Drew Fields was named the first Hensley Hunt Memorial Award winner. The award in honor of the former UHA dual sport athlete who passed away in Fall.
Ryan Luckey and Walton were honored with the Best 3-Point Field Goal Percentage award (29 percent).
Luckey also took home the Attitude Award.
Jaiden Miles earned Most Improved and Frank Pollard Jr. took home the Defensive Award. The Academic Award went to Drew Fields and Bell won the Coaches Award. Fields also picked up a Hustle Award.
KeShawn Moore also earned the Playmaker Award
