Several area high school baseball players have been recognized in the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association Pre-Season Watch List for Region 2.
University Heights Academy’s Hayden Hunt, Cadence Gibson, and Jaiden Miles, along with Christian County’s Sebastian Dazey and Eddie Davis earned preseason accolades.
Hunt has signed with Indiana State and Miles signed recently with Tennessee Wesleyan.
Other players from Region 2 on the list include: Ryder Sandidge (Madisonville), Alex Richards (Madisonville), Ari Wells (Caldwell County), Quinn Summers (Crittenden County), and Maddox Golday (Henderson County).
UHA’s season opener at home against Franklin-Simpson was postponed due to cold weather. The Blazers are expected to play Tuesday at Union County.
Christian County’s season opener tonight at Trigg County was postponed due to cold weather. The Colonels are scheduled to go to McCracken County on Tuesday.
