On Monday night at Blazer Gym, McCracken Co. defeated University Heights 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-22) in the first round of the KHSAA State Volleyball Tournament.
The Lady Mustangs move on to play in the 2nd round against Notre Dame on Friday at George Rogers Clark.
Despite the loss, this year’s UHA team goes down in the history books as the team with the most wins at 36 and winning the school’s first ever region championship.
