UHA’s Hunt earns Prep Baseball Kentucky All-State honor

University Heights Academy’s Hayden Hunt picked up another postseason honor on Tuesday. 

The shortstop/pitcher was named to the 2026 Prep Baseball Kentucky All-State First Team. 

Hunt, who was named Kentucky HIgh School Baseball Coaches Association First Team All-State last week, ended his senior season hitting .486 with four home runs and 36 RBI. On the mound, the right-hander went 5-3 with a 3.09 ERA and 70 strikeouts and 25 walks. 

The UHA star has signed with Indiana State and currently is playing with the Hoptown Hoppers. He also earned All “A” State Tournament Most Valuable Player while leading the Blazers to the Touchstone Energy All “A” State Tournament title.
