Union County hit 14 3-pointers and crushed visiting Heritage Christian Academy 102-53 Monday night in a boys’ high school basketball game.
Senior guard Jason Leek scored 31 of the Warriors’ 53 points. Nathan Wheatcraft added 10.
The Braves (3-2) jumped out to a 23-8 lead after one quarter and extended their advantage to 46-22 at halftime.
Cale Johnson scored 33 points, including seven 3-pointers to lead Union.
HCA slipped to 1-5 and will return to action Friday against Carlisle County in the St. Mary Christmas Classic.
