On Friday night, host Heritage Christian Academy dropped its second and final scrimmage to Bethel.
The first quarter was close as Bethel edged HCA 18-17.
However, the Warriors struggled on defense in the second quarter and Bethel pushed its lead to 34-26 after outscoring HCA 16-9 in the period.
The score was re-set after each quarter and Bethel proved too tough for the Warriors’ offense to overcome in the second half.
HCA opens its regular season Dec. 3 at Webster County.
