The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has released information on a three vehicle crash that happened in the intersection of Cadiz Road and the Eagle Way Bypass on Wednesday.
According to the collision report, it happened just before 9:45 a.m. when a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Ronnie Moss of Hopkinsville failed to stop at a red light, possibly to due to a mechanical failure involving the brakes. That’s when he collided with two other vehicles that had a green light and were proceeding through the intersection.
The impact caused all three vehicles to spin out in different directions and caused significant damage. Moss was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for complaints of chest pain.
The drivers of the other two vehicles complained of pains at the scene, but refused transport at the time.
