One person was killed and another critically injured in a crash at the Eagle Way Bypass and the Pennyrile Parkway Thursday afternoon.
The crash between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle happened just before 5 p.m. and shutdown the roadway for several hours. One victim, identified by Christian County Deputy Coroner Christy Adams as 46-year-old Lesley Hollimon of Hopkinsville, was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she would die of her injuries.
Forty-six-year-old Doug Hollimon of Hopkinsville was taken to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he is currently in critical condition.
The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the collision.
