The Clarksville Police Department will be conducting a training operation at Tennova Healthcare on September 21, and they’re letting the public know ahead of time.
The training will take place from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday and people traveling in the area or heading to Tennova will see an increased presence of police and other first responders on location. During this time, the public is advised to avoid the area unless they have specific business at Tennova. Services at Tennova Healthcare will not be disrupted since the training will be conducted in a section of the facility that remains closed on weekends.
Officials say this training is essential for making sure emergency agencies are ready to responded quickly and efficiently in the event of local emergencies.
