The Christian County Public School System, along with the community as a whole, is mourning the loss of longtime custodian Lacagle Kendrick.
Best known as “Cave” to students and staff, work with the public school system since the early 90’s, serving several schools in the district, most recently as part of the Pembroke Elementary School staff. Kendrick passed away unexpectedly recently.
Kendrick is described as a beloved member of the school system who never met a stranger and was always willing to do what he could to help someone in need.
Grief counselors will be onsite at the school to support staff and students.
