The Christian County Public Schools Education Foundation has awarded several Bright Ideas Grants to several CCPS staff and ideas Thursday.
The Bright Ideas Grants are designed to help CCPS employees bring innovative and educational class projects to life, and each recipient received $500, with a total of $8,500 awarded Thursday. The Christian County Public Schools Education Foundation received a total of 27 applications with 13 out of 17 CCPS sites applying.
Those awarded include projects and ideas at Bluegrass Learning Academy, Crofton Elementary School, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early Learning Center, Christian County High School, Christian County Middle School, Freedom Elementary, Gateway Academy, Hopkinsville High, Hopkinsville Middle, Sinking Fork Elementary, South Christian Elementary and the Virtual Learning Academy.
Projects range from emergency preparedness, field trips, purchasing a 3D printer, a robot crawler challenge, educational and classroom materials and much more.
