Grand jury issues indictments for manslaughter, assault related crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for manslaughter, fleeing, assault and endangerment-related crimes on Friday.

Thirty-two-year-old Katelynn McKinney of Oak Grove was indicted for second-degree manslaughter after her actions reportedly led to the death of an individual on October 1.

Twenty-seven-year-old Sasha Roberson of Clarksville was indicted on a slew of charges after she reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on September 24. Roberson is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and many other lesser charges.

Twenty-four-year-old Cody Franklin of Hopkinsville was indicted on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of disregarding a stop sign and other traffic offenses after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit on September 19.

Twenty-four-year-old Zachary Gillingham of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly assaulted four people before fleeing from law enforcement on September 15. Gillingham is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first-degree strangulation, four counts of fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest and second-degree criminal mischief.

Twenty-nine-year-old Joe Brown of Hopkinsville was indicted for first-degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief after he reportedly assaulted a victim by striking them repeatedly and hitting them with objects resulting in serious physical injury on June 16.

Fifty-nine-year-old John Lynch of Cadiz was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly unlawfully entered a home and assaulted the occupant. Lynch is charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree strangulation, second-degree assault, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, intimidating a participant in a legal process and violating an emergency protective order.
