Students in the Christian County Public School System who are planning to pursue higher education will now be able to pick from a wider selection of dual credit courses.
The school system announced that its partnership with Hopkinsville Community College has expanded to include the Pathfinder Great Start and the Pathfinder Fast Track dual credit programs.
The Great Start program allows students to start working toward an industry certification and the Fast Track program allows students to take classes that will go toward an associate degree in their desired field.
Schools Superintendent, Chris Bentzel says they are proud to expand the dual credit program to further support students’ post-secondary school goals and strengthen the community’s workforce pipeline. HCC Vice President of Academic Affairs, Chris Boyett says they look forward to creating new avenues to success.
