Since 2018 Brooke Jung has served as the Executive Director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and on Tuesday Jung announced her resignation and shared her plans for taking on a new position with Visit Albuquerque in New Mexico.
A news release from the Visit Bureau shared Jung’s resignation as well as some of her accomplishments during her tenure such as proclaiming Hopkinsville as the batter capital of the world, record breaking tourism for the last two years, securing over $1 million in Kentucky Department of Tourism funds and much more.
Jung also announced her resignation in a Facebook post sharing that she will be serving as the Vice President of Destination Development and Community Engagement for Visit Albuquerque and expressed gratitude toward those she worked with for supporting her ideas and visions for Hopkinsville.
