Two injured in Prosperity Lane roll-over crash

Two people were injured in a roll-over crash on Prosperity Lane Monday afternoon, sending them both to the hospital.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department report, a dump truck driven by Craig Quisenberry of Hopkinsville was heading southbound on Prosperity at around 2 p.m. when they topped a hill and an oncoming vehicle was close to the center of the road. In an effort to avoid a possible collision, Quisenberry reportedly took the dump truck onto the right-side shoulder of the road way.

That’s where he lost control of the truck and struck a tree, causing the truck to flip with both Quisenberry and passenger, Jason Ewing of Hopkinsville, trapped inside.

They were both removed from the truck before officers arrived.

Both men were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of multiple injuries.
