A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment, fleeing and drug trafficking related crimes on Friday.
Forty-seven-year-old William Waters of Hopkinsville was indicted for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and violation of a foreign EPO after he reportedly attempted to set a home on fire on March 4. Waters allegedly poured lighter fluid all over the living room and attempted to start the fire while two children were inside.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tyler Kozlowski of Pulaski, Wisconsin was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly law enforcement on a pursuit while under the influence of a substance on March 5. He was indicted for first-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, reckless driving, driving and other traffic related offenses.
Thirty-one-year-old Lamonte Barnes of Evansville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit in February. Barnes was charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree attempted assault of a police officer, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a vehicle on a suspended license, reckless driving, speeding and failure to signal.
Eighteen-year-old Charles Gray of Hopkinsville was indicted on multiple charges after he reportedly led law enforcement on a pursuit that ended in a wreck on February 20. Gray is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and other traffic offenses.
Thirty-seven-year-old Jeremy Mann and 43-year-old Jimmy Cornell Jr. both of Hopkinsville were indicted on drug trafficking charges after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence on Lafayette Road on March 12. Law enforcement reportedly found methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Mann was charged with four counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cornell was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Twenty-one-year-old Kyan Buckner was charged with three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing restricted ammunition and possession of drug paraphernalia following the execution of a search warrant on March 11.
