The Walmart Supercenter on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville is inviting the community to come enjoy the first day of summer on Saturday with their second annual car show, and it’s all to support a good cause.
Organizer Josh Ebbinger with Walmart appeared on WHOP Tuesday morning to provide the details, saying all money raised by Saturday’s Car Show will support the Children’s Miracle Network, which supports children battling illnesses right here in the community.
The fun kicks off at the Walmart on Clinic Drive at 11 a.m. Saturday morning, with registration for participating vehicles beginning at 10 a.m. that morning. It’s $10 per motorcycle, $20 per car or truck and $100 per Club, which can be five or more vehicles.
Ebbinger says they had a tremendous turnout of vehicles last year, and they’re looking to beat that number this year.
There will also be fun activities for children, along with food trucks and even a Cornhole Tournament starting at 12 p.m. It’s $20 per team to register and you can register all the way up until 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
