KCTCS has highest number of graduates, credentials awarded since 1997-98 term

During the 2024-25 academic year, Kentucky Community and Technical College System schools had its highest number of graduates and credentials awarded since the system’s establishment in the 1997-98 academic year.

Across the 16 KCTCS community colleges, 24,263 students graduated and awarded 44,402 credentials during the 2024-25 term according to preliminary data. The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education will announce the final totals later in the year which may vary slightly from the preliminary amounts.

KCTCS President Ryan Quarles says these milestones demonstrate the commitment of their students, faculty and staff to creating a better future for themselves, their families and the state.
