Pennyrile Electric is undoubtedly hoping Mother Nature cooperates this time around, as they look to try and do some needed upgrades at the Pee Dee substation.
According to a news release, the upgrades include installing new regulators, along with changing out two power poles just outside of the substation, which will require an outage of power to 2,304 Pennyrile Electric members that are served by that substation.
The outage is expected to last approximately four hours will work is completed, and it will take place starting 12 a.m. Saturday at midnight heading into Sunday morning.
