Heads up to motorists traveling on U.S. 62 in Lyon County—milling work was set to begin Thursday, with full paving work to start on Monday.
That will result in a lane restriction on U.S. 62 between mile point six and mile point ten—the work zone extends from near the intersection with KY 93 and KY 295 in Kuttawa to Park Avenue in Eddyville.
Crews will begin surface leveling in smaller sections today and Friday, with full paving scheduled for Monday.
Motorists should watch for signs and arrow boards directing traffic into the open lane in the work zone. Be alert when entering U.S. 62 from Interstate 24, Exit 40.
Weather permitting, work will last approximately two weeks.
