A car and bicycle collision at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Commerce Court resulted in minor injuries on Friday.
According to a report, Taylor Wendell of Crofton was traveling west on Commerce Court near the intersection when a car driven by Steven Tabor of Hopkinsville turned from MLK Way onto the court, leading to a collision.
Tabor reportedly told first responders that Wendell’s bicycle did not have a light and he saw the bicycle before the impact and tried to swerve in an attempt to avoid a collision.
Wendell was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for minor injuries.
