Police arrest a woman for driving with a man on her car hood

Hopkinsville Police arrested 26-year-old Breontay Moore of Oak Grove after she reportedly attempted to strike a man with her car and drove away from the scene while he was on the car’s hood on Saturday.

According to a report, the incident occurred at a used car dealership on Walnut Street. Moore was reportedly told that she was overdue on her payments and the car would have to be turned over to the dealership until she caught up on those payments.

While a manager was speaking with another customer, Moore reportedly attempted to leave with the car. The manager stepped in front of the car to keep Moore from leaving, but she reportedly attempted to strike him with the car which led to him jumping on the hood.

Moore reportedly continued driving onto Fort Campbell Boulevard and hit the brakes to knock the manager off of the car’s hood. The vehicle had a GPS and officers reportedly located her with the car on Sivley Road.

Moore was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree assault.
