The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot on Newtown Road in Russellville Wednesday afternoon.
According to a news release, deputies responded to the 1300 block of Newtown Road just before 5 p.m. for a call of shots fired and upon arrival, found an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was identified as 62-year-old Marvin Patterson of Indiana—he was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment. He is listed in critical condition.
No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
