A Hopkinsville man is facing several charges following an incident in Lyon County Friday.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, deputies with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department responded to report of a suspicious person at a residence on KY 295 North, where the caller reported seeing a man come out from behind a residence and then flee when confronted.
A suspicious vehicle was located at the home, and a suspect later identified as 46-year-old Jason Williams of Hopkinsville was reportedly found in a wooded area, where he tried to flee on foot. He was quickly caught and detained.
Williams is charged with third-degree burglary, two counts of criminal trespassing and second-degree fleeing or evading police.
