As the season of giving continues, Hopkinsville Electric System is inviting their customers to get free holiday hams.
HES has partnered with the Tennessee Valley Authority and Impact Ministries to give out the hams. Customers must provide an HES bill and an I.D. that have a matching address in order to get a ham.
According to a news release, the TVA is partnering with eight power providers in Kentucky and plan to give out 3,814 hams. The local ham giveaway is set for December 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., or until they run out, at Impact Ministries at 513 West 9th Street.
