United Way Director calls on the community to help them reach their fundraising goal

The United Way of the Pennyrile’s 2025 fundraising campaign is approaching the finish line, and Executive Director Melanie Noffsinger is calling on the community to help them reach their goal.

The local United Way is working to raise $715,000 to support 16 partner agencies this year including the Hopkinsville Boys and Girls Club, the American Read Cross and the Pennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) Home Delivered Meals Program.

Bri Smith and Abigail Landrum are campaign co-chairs, and this year’s theme is “Give Unlimited Possibilities!”

With the season of giving well underway, the Noffsinger is encouraging the community to donate and says the nonprofits they are supporting help residents across Christian, Todd and Trigg counties.

Noffsinger says any amount helps and donors can even designate which agencies and counties receive their donations.

Those interested in donating, can mail their donations to 1110 South Main Street in Hopkinsville or they can do so online at pennyrileunitedway.org.

The campaign concludes in February with a celebration at the Bruce Convention Center.
