T.RAD North America to establish its first Tennessee facility

T.RAD North America is set to establish its first Tennessee facility in Clarksville which will come with a $90.2 million investment and the creation of 928 new jobs.

T.RAD is a Japanese-based company that produces heat exchangers for internal combustion engines, HVAC units, battery cooling and fuel cell cooling. The manufacturer’s North America headquarters opened in Hopkinsville in 1988.

According to a news release from the Clarksville Industrial Development Board, the new facility will be located at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Corporate Business Park South.  

T.RAD North America President Taroh Miller says the company’s expansion into Tennessee is a strategic investment in the future of their North American operations. Miller also says the Clarksville facility will enhance their manufacturing capabilities and strengthen their supply-chain performance to support growing customer demand.
