Hopkinsville Police arrested 23-year-old Kaylon Webb of Hopkinsville after he reportedly pointed a firearm at a woman and her child while driving on Friday.
Officers responded to a report concerning a terroristic threatening incident that occurred on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The victim reportedly told officers that a man driving near their car pointed a black handgun at her and her son and provided the suspect’s license plate.
Officers later located the vehicle in the area of South Virginia Street and 3rd Street and initiated a traffic stop. Contact was made with Webb and a search of his car reportedly revealed a tan Glock 9 mm replica BB gun, a black rifle BB gun and multiple marijuana vape pens.
Webb was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, failure to maintain required insurance, improper display of registration plates and not possessing his driver’s license.
