Local Kiwanis Club invites the community to annual Pancake Breakfast fundraiser

To continue their mission of supporting local youth, the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club is inviting the community to their Pancake Breakfast next week.

The pancake breakfast is an annual fundraiser the club hosts to continue their work in the community. Kiwanis member Nikki Chambers says the breakfast will be at the Hopkinsville War Memorial Building on February 7 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

For $7, folks can get all you can eat pancakes and sausages, and people will also be able to get breakfast to-go. Funds raised from the breakfast will go toward academic scholarships and youth programs such as the Willie Renshaw Warm the Children Campaign which provides winter clothing for local children.

For last year’s Warm the Children Campaign, Chambers says the Kiwanis Club raised around $28,000 and bought clothes for 247 children.

Pancake Breakfast tickets can be bought from a Kiwanis Club member or at the War Memorial Building during the day of the breakfast.
