Alhambra Theatre ready to welcome valentines for Alfreda Sings Tina

The Alhambra Theatre is going to be full of lights and music and good times this month, starting with a big Mo-town show on Valentine’s Day.

Alfreda Sings Tina will take the stage on February 14, and she’ll bring with her an orchestra of amazing musicians as she highlights the works of Tina Turner and other artists that revolutionized the music industry. Pennyroyal Arts Council Executive Director Margaret Prim says it’ll be a rockin’ and rollin’ night at the Alhambra, so you don’t want to miss it.

There are still some tickets available for that show, but Prim says they’re going fast.

There will be plenty of live shows and other events coming up in the future for the historic theater, but it’s a community space that serves numerous purposes. Prim says they’ll play host to several organization events this month, including the Christian County Chamber Compass Awards and a performance by Christian County Public School students.

There’s a lot on the docket for the Alhambra as the Arts Council looks to catch up from time lost during icy weather, so give them a visit on Facebook for more information.
