Deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested 59-year-old Michael Sisk of Dawson Springs after he reportedly shot a firearm during an altercation Monday night.
Deputies responded to a residence on Dawson Springs Road for a shot-fired incident. At the scene, Sisk told deputies that he shot through the back door of the residence while the victim was attempting to hit him with a hammer.
However, according to the victim, Sisk reportedly shot the firearm while he was outside the home and she thought that he may have shot himself. After she realized that Sisk did not shoot himself, she decided to leave the residence.
As she was reportedly grabbing some money, Sisk reportedly threatened to “blast her.” She then allegedly grabbed a tire thumper and told Sisk to not come near her. While walking away, Sisk reportedly shot through the glass of the back door.
Sisk was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and fourth-degree assault.
