Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal UTV crash in Caldwell County.
According to a news release, it happened around 9 p.m. on Cannon Road in Princeton when a 17-year-old was operating a UTV southbound on Cannon and for an unknown reason, dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway.
As the driver attempted to get the vehicle back on the roadway, they lost control of it, causing it to overturn.
The teenager was pronounced deceased while on the way to the Caldwell County Hospital.
The investigation remains ongoing.
