A Christian County Grand Jury returned numerous indictments recently, including against three Hopkinsville men in connection with a robbery that happened in November.
Indicted for second-degree complicity to robbery is Maurice Catlett, Jeffrey White and Timothy Lamont Lyle, all of Hopkinsville. Catlett is additionally indicted on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police, third-degree assault of a police officer, first-degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of a drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
As previously reported, Catlett, White and Lyle allegedly pushed a 58-year-old man in the area of West Seventh Street near a wood line on November 16 and allegedly took money and a backpack from him. Catlett allegedly fought with officers as they attempted to take him into custody.
Lyle is also indicted on charges of first-degree possession of meth and second-degree possession of synthetic drugs.
Twenty-six-year-old Earl Ray Cook Jr. was indicted for two counts of first-degree fleeing or evading police, operating on a suspended of revoked license and first-degree criminal mischief, stemming from an incident in July where he reportedly led officers on a pursuit.
Indicted for third-degree assault of a first responder, DUI second-offense and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle is 45-year-old Tremayne Terrell Welch of Hopkinsville, related to an incident in November in Christian County.
