Hopkinsville Mayor J.R. Knight is getting ready to present is proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, and he’ll host the annual budget address on May 1.
That budget address will take place at 9 a.m. in Hopkinsville City Council Chambers, and its set to provide an overview of the city’s financial outlook and outlines key priorities for the fiscal year. Community members are invited to attend and learn about what investments and initiatives he is set to propose for the future of Hopkinsville.
Following the address, the proposal will be submitted to the Hopkinsville City Council for review and approval.
The event is open to the public.
