Details released in Pembroke Road two-vehicle collision

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department has released details on a two-vehicle crash that injured three people on Pembroke Road Saturday.

According to the collision report, it happened on Pembroke Road in the area of the BBQ Shack around 2:20 p.m. A vehicle driven by 84-year-old Jack Crawford of Hopkinsville was pulled up to leave the parking lot onto Pembroke Road, when an unknown vehicle reportedly pulled up next to him, blocking the view of the roadway.

After that vehicle left, Crawford pulled out to go, and pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Gabriel Stout of Pembroke, and the two collided.

Both Crawford and Stout were transported to Vanderbilt Clarksville for treatment of serious injuries. A passenger in Stout’s vehicle went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
