The Clarksville Police Department has identified the Fort Campbell soldier who died in a motorcycle crash on May 29.
The crash itself happened on May 28 between a motorcycle and an SUV on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Clarksville, near Rufus Johnson Road. The motorcyclist, now identified as 24-year-old Marlon Scott of Texas, would be pronounced deceased while en route to the hospital.
Scott was an active-duty soldier stationed at Fort Campbell.
The driver of the SUV had to be extricated from the vehicle, and her injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.
This remains an ongoing investigation.
