Hopkinsville police are investigating after a man was assaulted last week on Thrush Drive.
According to the incident report, it happened in the 2500 block of Thrush Drive sometime in the early morning hours of June 4, when a Hopkinsville man in his 60’s was reportedly struck with a blunt object, resulting in ‘apparent broken bones’ and other major injuries.
The assaulter is currently unknown, with no suspects listed on the report.
The incident is being investigated as second-degree assault.
